BEECHWOOD
Wood is produced by plant as a structural element with excellent strength and resistance. After it has been cut and seasoned, or dried, wood is intended to a wide variety of use.
It holds an unquestioned primacy in architecture as a building material because of its flexibility, workability, good structural behavior and easy assembly.
Beech wood is one of the most strong and tough wood that has been proceeded by the Alpine and Apennine forests and got an identity colour variable between golden and reddish. It is a wood counted in the fine category, moderatly hard to hard tending, for this reason it results quite heavy.

In Artelaio handlooms beech wood is a basic constituent element. It is used to build almost all the handloom in either plywood or solid. A part of the handloom consists of rotary cut vaporized plywood with excellent mechanical performance and less propensity to torsion. The bulk, and where it is possible, it is made using solid beech, that got excellent hardness, stability, resistance to the decomposition by mold, mushrooms or xylophagous insects, and higher level of surface finish.

The production and assembly of the handlooms it is entrusted to expert contributors that test and verify the quality with scrupulous attention and selection criteria designed for use.

ALUMINIUM
 |
|
To realize some parts of the handloom we use the aluminium. This material is one of the most important industrial element that represent the possibility to give lightweight and strength to the final product. Aluminium is extract from bauxite, it has a lot of resistance to corrosion and long- lasting.
In handlooms, aluminium is used to realize the heddles, some case hinged details and the beams. For these last elements we use an aluminium profile exclusively designed and powder coated. |
Plastic
All the PLASTIC parts are made up with molds of our exclusive property.
